Hello Everyone!
I am very excited to be a part of this forum! Although I joined back in September of 08' I was still deciding and mulling over whether or not I would make the jump into serisouly considering calling myself a photographer...
Fast forwarding to "now", I am very happy to say that I am a very enthusiastic aspiring photographer! I have done a lot since September of 08', like: enrolled in NYIP's Proffessional Photography Course, came up with a business name B&B Reflections Photography, proud owner of a new website http:/bbreflections.com, have started to build somewhat of a portfolio, and have done some family and children sessions, etc. Feel free to check out my site and let me know what you think. I welcome all comments or suggestions, good or bad, I'm a very "easy going" type of gal and welcome all sorts of comments and suggestions.
A little bit about me: Currently I plan to work out of my home, part-time, in Janesville, WI. I want to focus on weddings, seniors, families and children (pets too!). I have two wonderful little boys of my own that has truly been my inspiration all along. I've been in love with photography as long as I can remember and it is my dream to one day become full-time and own my own "trendy" type studio.
I've photographed quite a few weddings as a "guest" or as a favor to friends and/or family and I"ve always been told that I should seriously consider doing this type of work professionally. So in order for me to really give it a try, I felt the least I could do was to enroll in some sort of "schooling/training" to help me out and that's where NYIP comes in. So far, it's been great! I've learned already so much more than I thought I could in the first couple of lessons. Because I'm such a "sponge" when it comes to learning, I'm looking to further my training by attending workshops, seminars and conventations as much as I can (as much as my budget allows). I'm also hoping to assist or second shoot at weddings. So if anyone needs someone, please feel free to let me know. I'd love to!
I am also finishing up my Business Management degree and graduating in May of 09'. I'm super excited about that!!
I guess I'll stop rattling now, and I very much look forward to reading and sharing with all of you!!!
Take care!
Brandy
